About M Seed Outreach & Thrift Store

M Seed Outreach provides assistance and finances to people who struggle with alcohol and drug addictions by providing an opportunity for them to connect with God and apply biblical principles through a 12-month program.

Life Changers

Founded in 2011, M Seed Outreach is a volunteer-driven organization.

We reach out to people who suffer from addiction. We meet people where they are at, to bring them hope and a way off the streets.

We do this by taking people who struggle with substance abuse to 12-month residential programs. Removing addicts from their triggers, enablers and placing them in a new location with a fresh start. They live in transitional housing while they are taught job skills, life skills and counseling. M Seed Outreach works with others of mutual purpose to accomplish these tasks. The men, women and families we help also go on to share that love with others, to pass on the hope they have been given, and to make transformation possible for others.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to:

  • Reach out to people who suffer from substance abuse;
  • Serve as a vessel that encourage people to make positive changes;
  • Act as a vehicle that helps restore their lives.

Toward active and positive change, so that:

  •  Those we send to recovery will conquer addiction, grow in wisdom, be healed of their past hurts, mend past relationships;
  • Become a healthy productive part of our community and reconnect with friends, family and community
  • To live a functioning life free from substance abuse.

Meaning Behind M Seed

Mustard TreeAgain he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”

As a Mustard Seed grows from small beginnings into a giant tree, so we have seen life-changing growth in the lives of those who participate in M Seed Outreach … from the recovered, founders and volunteers, to the simple shoppers who make recovery possible by the most simple of donations.
